It's our mission is to bring smiles to children who are living with cancer in the GTA by providing them with gently used toys.
We aim to create joyful experiences for children with cancer by allowing them to “shop” online for the toys that they want. Our hope is that Zoah’s Toys offers families involved the excitement of receiving “new to them” toys, hand-picked by the kids themselves, without the financial and environmental burden that new toys bring. Whether you are a fellow childhood cancer family or just want to get involved by donating toys - WELCOME! We are so happy you stopped by!

About Us
Zoah Johnston was a brave, smart, funny and creative 7-year-old girl from Toronto. Some of her favourite things to do were singing, baking, making art, playing playmobil, lego and games, and filming YouTube videos. Zoah was diagnosed with cancer when she was 4 years old. Playing with toys brought Zoah so much joy over her three-year journey with cancer. Zoah shared her love of toys with her family and friends though a video series she made called “Zoah's Toys”. She would showcase the lasted toy she got for being brave at SickKids hospital. Whenever Zoah was ready to move on from a toy she would always want to give it away so someone else, who she hoped would enjoy it as much as she did. One of Zoah’s favourite parts of getting a new toy, was actually searching for it and choosing it herself. Having so much time at home and in the hospital, we did A LOT of online shopping. Zoah would sit on her dad’s lap for ages, looking through all the options she had to choose from until she landed on just the right one. Then she would spend the coming days, waiting in anticipation for her beloved toy to arrive. It brought her excitement and something fun to look forward to. It is Zoah’s excitement and happiness that led us to create Zoah’s Toys. Kids with cancer don’t have a lot of choice or control over many parts of their lives, we want to offer them a bit more agency and a whole lotta fun. Today, we hold Zoah in our hearts and she is an active force behind this endeavour. She is our guiding light. We honour Zoah's memory by connecting kids who are journeying through cancer with toys to help brighten their days.
Zoah’s Toys is run by Zoah’s loving parents, Sara and Jason, and with the help of donations from our ever-growing and ever-loving community near and far, “Zoah’s Village”.
